What is heavy tuning for trucks?

Here, heavy tuning refers to ECU tuning and programming work for heavy-duty trucks. The right service depends on the vehicle, control unit, operating conditions and intended use. Diagnostic equipment identifies faults and operating data; an ECU programming tool or service supports a different part of the workshop workflow.

ECU reprogramming, configuration and tuning

ECU reprogramming changes software or calibration in an electronic control unit. A diagnostic fault, a configuration request and a performance-tuning request need different assessments. Send the ECU identification, current symptoms and intended use rather than choosing a file from the vehicle name alone.

When an enquiry concerns AdBlue/SCR, EGR or DPF/FAP, include the diagnostic fault codes, symptoms and work already performed. Fault-code clearing, diagnosis and an ECU software modification are different operations; the required service needs to be identified before a quotation.

Can a service be completed remotely?

Some programming and technical-support requests can be discussed remotely. Whether a file, remote session or ECU unit is needed depends on the job. Do not send ECU files or make changes until the required process has been agreed with MrDiag Center.
